Before the session

Preparing for a healing session is an important step towards physical and emotional cleansing and healing. To fully benefit from the practice, it's important to be aware of your thought process and try to avoid distractions. Bringing any emotions or thoughts to your therapy session can inhibit the healing and cleansing process.

Before your healing session, it's important to be mindful and prepare yourself for the process of sound healing. By doing so, you'll be able to fully immerse yourself in the healing power of sound and energy.

Some things to consider before your healing session:

  • To fully enjoy the experience, we recommend that you keep yourself hydrated throughout the day. Did you know that sound waves travel better through water? By staying well hydrated, you can enhance your listening experience and fully immerse yourself in the healing sounds of the session. So make sure to drink plenty of water before and after the session.

  • We recommend eating light and healthy food 1.5-2 hours before the session. This will help you achieve a deeper state of relaxation and enhance the impact of the sound vibrations and energies.

  • We recommend setting an intention for your session and approaching it with a positive mindset.

  • We recommend wearing warm, comfortable, and flexible clothing. Get ready to relax and let the soothing sounds wash over you.

  • We recommend arriving 15 to 20 minutes early to settle yourself in the space with a calm mind.

During the session

During a sound bath, the brainwave state is transformed from the normal waking state (beta) to a more relaxed state (alpha), dreamlike state (theta), and even a restorative state (delta).

  • As the mind and body relax, heart rate and blood pressure decrease, and breathing becomes deeper.

  • Some people enter a deep meditative state or dreamlike state, while others may even fall asleep. In this state it is possible to experience vivid images, colors, and receive new insights and ideas.

  • In addition to the relaxation benefits, some people may experience physical sensations. These can include feelings of warmth, cold, tingling, pulsing, or vibration throughout the body. Some people may even feel a sense of weightlessness or floating, almost like out of body which can be a unique and enjoyable experience.

  • It is important to note that experiencing an emotional release during a session is normal and can be positively or negatively charged. It is a sign the body is releasing stored emotions and can lead to a sense of relief and healing.

It is possible that you may experience new insights or ideas, which is a normal part of the healing process. Please be assured that this is a sign of progress and a positive outcome.

  • Plenty of rest and a good night sleep. Don't worry if you sleep deeper or even remember your dreams clearly.
